Description
These 315MHz Radio Transmitter and Receiver modules are great for sending basic serial signals over the air.
Whenever the DATA input on the transmitter module changes, it transmits the signal to the receiver module which then outputs the received data on it's DATA output.
The Transmitter module
The transmitter module has three pins:
- DATA: this is the input for the data to be transmitted to the receiver. It is either High (approx 5V) or Low (0V).
- VCC: this is the positive power connection for the transmitter. It should be connected to a 5V supply.
- GND: this is the negative power connection (or ground) for the transmitter. It should be connected to 0V - or ground.
The Receiver module
The receiver module has four pins:
- GND: this is the negative power connection (or ground) for the receiver. It should be connected to 0V - or ground.
- DATA: there are two identical data pins that output the data that has been received from the transmitter. It is either High (approx 5V) or Low (0V).
- VCC: this is the positive power connection for the receiver. It should be connected to a 5V supply.
