The LM2596-based step down voltage regulator board is a low-ripple adjustable output voltage power supply capable of providing up to 2A of continuous current (3A with a heat-sink). This DC to DC Step Down Regulator has a high conversion efficiency of up to
92%, the higher the Output voltage the higher the efficiency.

Input Voltage: 4v-to 35v
Output Voltage Adjustable to 1.23-30v
The input voltage should me a minimum of 1.5v higher then the output voltage

This DC Regulator is ideal for adjusting the output voltage to suit your project requirements,  just turn the adjustable potentiometer to get the exact voltage. 



Our high-quality PCB is fully populated with protection diodes and smoothing capacitors to provide a high quality, smooth, low-ripple output voltage. Many alternative designs based on this regulator do not include these extra components!

This board is optionally provided with SIL headers for easy connection to existing circuits.

Option 1: no headers

If you do not wish to have any header Pins included, choose this option. The board will be supplied without any connectors and you can add any connections to the rest of your circuit as required.

Option 2: loose headers

A strip of 4 SIL header Pins will be included with the board for you to split and solder to the input and output points.

Option 3: headers soldered facing down

The SIL header pins will be soldered facing downwards. This is ideal for fitting the regulator on to existing boards or into a breadboard.

Option 4: headers soldered facing up

The SIL header pins will be soldered facing upwards. This is ideal for using flyleads to connect the regulator to the rest of your circuit.
