Membrane Keypad - 16 button 4 x 4 matrix keypad
Description
Our membrane keypad provides 16 keys on an 8-pin connector using a matrix system to detect which key has been pressed.
The matrix keypad is wired via a flexible ribbon to an 8 pin header socket.
The keypad can be stuck to a hard surface using the sticky pad provided to provide a hard backing to the keypad - making it easier to press and use the keys.
The matrix is wired as follows:

Optional: We can supply 8 pin headers that are suitable for plugging into the connector on the end of the keypad ribbon. We offer both straight and right angle headers. They are a standard 0.1" pitch from pin to pin.
